Partial Blur Video privacy policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This policy describes Partial Blur Video (com.litshot.blurvideoeditor) with the updated Privacy & Consent controls. For privacy questions, contact the Partial Blur Video team at litshotapp@gmail.com.

Your videos, photos and editing projects

Partial Blur Video edits media and performs face detection on your device. The app does not send your source media, face images, masks, source filenames, source URIs or saved project contents to our servers, advertising services or Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics. The system picker grants access to media you select. To support editing and resuming drafts, the app keeps a private working copy of the selected video and project settings. Exported files are saved on your device.

When you choose to share an export, the app supplies that file to the app you select. That receiving app handles the shared file under its own policy. Your device's backup and transfer settings may copy project settings and other eligible app data. The private imported video copies are excluded from Android app backup. Delete a draft in the app or clear its storage to remove private working data; uninstalling removes private app data. Exported gallery files remain until you delete them separately.

Advertising and consent

The free app uses Google AdMob for interstitial, banner and optional rewarded ads. Google may collect and share your IP address (including approximate location inferred from it), device/account identifiers, ad and app interactions, and SDK performance/diagnostic information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Advertising is subject to the consent and privacy choices supported by Google User Messaging Platform for your region. Ads are requested only when that platform permits them and the app has confirmed a free entitlement. Declining personalized ads may still allow limited ads under Google's rules.

Open Info & Help → Privacy & Consent → Ad Preferences to revisit advertising choices when a privacy-options form is required for your region. Otherwise, Check Ad Preferences refreshes the regional requirements. If preferences cannot be loaded, the app displays an error when you request them; editing and exporting remain available. Android's advertising-ID settings also let you reset or delete that identifier. Confirmed Pro users receive no ads.

The app may download promotions for other apps using Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Storage and image hosting services configured by the operator. Those requests expose network information such as an IP address to the serving provider. These promotions start only after the advertising permission check; clicking a promotion opens the destination store page you choose.

Face detection and service diagnostics

The bundled Google ML Kit face detector processes video frames locally. ML Kit may send device/app information, per-installation identifiers, API configuration, performance metrics and error/event information to Google for service diagnostics and usage analytics. It does not send your video frames to a remote face-detection service. Face tracking is an optional editing feature.

Firebase services

Firebase Analytics collection and Crashlytics report uploads are disabled in versions with the updated Privacy & Consent controls. Earlier versions may have sent app events and crash reports, including diagnostic logs, to these services. Those older logs could include source references and serialized project metadata. Ad consent does not enable either service. The app discards unsent Crashlytics reports and does not forward editor logs or project payloads to it.

Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Installations may collect a per-installation identifier, app/SDK and OS information, country/language and time-zone information to deliver app configuration and promotions. Firebase Storage serves promotion images; the app does not upload user media to that service. These services are separate from disabled Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics uploads.

Purchases, feedback and external services

Google Play handles purchases and payment information. The app uses purchase status and purchase tokens to confirm and restore Pro access. It does not receive your payment-card details. Google Play review, tutorial links and store links operate under the destination service's policies. Sending feedback through your email app shares the content and contact information you choose to send to litshotapp@gmail.com; the app does not automatically attach your media or project.

Security, retention and requests

Google documents encryption in transit for AdMob, ML Kit and Firebase SDK data. Service providers retain and process service data according to their policies and our configured account settings. Data already transmitted by a previous app version is not erased by disabling future collection in this version. For privacy questions or requests about information held by the app operator, including deletion of support correspondence, contact litshotapp@gmail.com. Support correspondence is retained for handling your request, follow-up and any applicable legal obligations. Information we hold can be deleted when it is no longer needed for those purposes; a request to us does not automatically erase data independently held by Google or another provider. Advertising choices can be changed through the controls above; local working data can be removed through draft deletion or Android app storage settings. Do not send sensitive media with a request unless needed and agreed with support.

Policy updates

We update this policy when the app's data handling or service configuration changes. The date at the top identifies the current revision. When a change requires renewed consent, the app requests it through the applicable privacy controls.
